Never heard of it. How about a pic of it just to make this thread interesting?

They must of not been able to sell enough of them. I'm just wondering why you would have "fun" with your warranty though?

Ahhh. I saw one of those the other day. I thought it was just customized by the owner. I wasn't too fond of it.

Probly because you most likely had the buy the truck through roll-a-long and ford dealers probly wouldnt hold the warranty?

Actually, it's probably like a Saleen. When I had my Saleen, dealing with warranty issues was always a PITA. First, the Ford dealer had to determine if the faulty part was a Ford part or a Saleen part. If it was a Ford part, then the repair was done as usual. If the faulty part was a Saleen part, then the dealer would have to contact Saleen, get an authorization for the repair to be done, then order the part from Saleen. The parts usually took longer to get because they shipped from Saleen instead of a regional Ford warehouse. I can see how this would be a problem for owners of the FX400. If the part that failed is not a Ford part, then the replacement part may be very hard to get.
