Once out of school (hopefully) and earning a proper salary, you can go buy all the toys you want - faulty reasoning notwithstanding.....

cheers
Sir, I dont really know who you are, but not to steer away from the topic at hand, I have a few things a would like to add...

College is already taken care of, for the past 3 years I have been interning and make decent wages for somebody my age, so its really not a problem. You must have had a much different college life than I do, because I find that instead of teaching you "lucid reasoning" or "common sense" professors tend to assume that you have a decent amount of intelligence in that area and tend not to focus their time on it. I am currently on the deans list and only hope to do better. So next time you would like to compare your insecurities with mine, watch who you flame. Because I guarantee that one day it will catch up to you and you'll be working for the kid you thought was so dumb.

I am considering selling the edge because since I have been running stock and using it solely as an mpg monitor, I have come to the conclusion that it is a very expensive piece of equipment for what i use it for, and I simply wanted to know what everybody else's thoughts.

I can't imagine going back to running stock. I have to have at least level 2 and usually run level 3. Further, if I had to run stock, I would want it for the gauges. I monitor temps and would feel lost without it. Additionally, I keep the digital speedometer on the monitor as well, it is much easier for me to see out of the corner of my eye than making a concious effort to look down at the dash.

You only live once. It sounds like you was already thinking about selling the edge anyway and the Iphone has just added fuel to the fire. I saw do it but just remeber that its going to change. I use to work very very closely with Apple for 6 years and I have alot of friends that work there now. I can tell you that they have another version coming out maybe this year with less features than it alreay has.

When you are full grown, it is a hassle, the top of the steering wheel is in the way.
