Bone [dry] stock ..... anyone?

Got to talking with some mates over drinks earlier...

It seems that mods are an addiction.... once you start, it's dang near impossible to stop!

Some want more power, some want a little more bling, some want a little more function and some, well, want a little of everything.

With just about every thread here about this or that addition, got me thinking....

Does anyone have an '04-present F150 that's bone stock?

I mean NO aftermarket parts. Not even an antenna! The way it drove out of the Ford plant.

Why have you decided to keep it bone stock? Financial matter or are you just content with it the way it is?

Interesting concept...

im curious to see if anyone does have a bone stock truck too.
Im willing to bet that with all the info on these forums on how to mod/swap/upgrade/etc 99% of active members DO NOT HAVE a stock truck

Hell maybe we should have a log on how long we lasted with a stock truck till it got modded since a stock truck thread will probably die quickly here lol.

I think i went 2 weeks before adding the upper and lower billets on my 06.
and that was before the 06+ bumper billet came out so i had to cut an 05 bumper billet and make brackets to fit the 06 style.

Oh and just by the way
i noticed alot of guys have "tint" under mods.. does anyone besides myself not consider tint a "mod"
i could go on with a few other things, but tint just really irks me when i see it in a mod list.

I had my windows tinted and my toolbox installed the day i bought my truck. So i guess mine was stock for an hour or so!

Window tint is a mod imo. If it didn't come on the truck.....it's a mod of some sort.

My 07' FX2 is 100% stock. I have had it for almost 6 months now. I got over the mod bug when I had my lightning. Of course I got all the bells and whistles on this truck when I bought it.

I agre to a point -and I'm sure you can throw in others into that catagory - but if you look at the definition of the word [modification] in this application, than anything that's an "aftermarket addition" is considered to change somewhat the form or qualities of; alter partially; amend from originality.

People on this site are mod happy. The people in the street that don't frequent the internet are mostly stock.

I have 3 cousins with 2004+ F150s (One Mark LT), and they're all bone stock. The guy with the Mark LT wants to put lowering shackles on his though. He's on the right track.
