But, you could buy traction bars from SuperLift and they'll bolt right on. They wouldn't bolt right on to mine because I'm running a flip kit.

Really... Thanks for the heads up, guess I'll just get the springs, shocks and shackles then.

How do the Superlifts mount? I need something that I can mount better because of my lift.

These come from Matt FX4's truck.

Well, I started the truck and drove it around the neighborhood. Holy mother of pearl. I got on it once for a few seconds and broke the rear tires loose at about 10-15MPH... It's gonna be fun!

Downside, It threw a CEL. P0112, Low IAT sensor voltage. Maybe I'll have it finished by next week. LOL

Now to take it all back apart to fix the intercooler leak. *Sigh*

With the front brackets like that, what keeps the frame from getting squeezed in when you tighten those top bolts down?

I like the Superlift set-up, I'm just not so sure they would work with my set-up. 10" of lift.

I'm not sure I follow what your saying. The top two bolts go thru the frame. You drill the holes and bolt the bracket onto it. You want it to squeeze the frame and be tight.

If your worried about damaging the frame or somthing, don't. You would break the bolts off before it got tight enough to squeeze the frame that much.

Thumper, I can't see why they wouldn't fit your truck. You might have to extend the pipes/tubes to reach the frame in the desired spot. You could take it to any fab shop and they could extend those pipes and have em welded back up in 15 mins or less.

Well, I got it all torn apart again. I just have to wait for my friend to get off work so he can help me lift the blower out of the engine bay.

I don't remember his Kenne Bell weighing that much on his mustang. The ship weight says 85 LBS... but damn. It feels like 120lbs.

I've narrowed down the leak to the back of the blower for sure. If I plug up the inlet on the intercooler and blow on the outlet tube, you can hear the air excaping from somewhere in the back.

Once I get that patched up, hopefully I can fix that CEL and I'll be golden!

Best I recall, they're expensive...http://www.stylinconcepts.com/parts....641&forceAll=1 Standard bars are whats pictured above on Matt's truck

It says for short bed only, but like I said.. it's a length issue. Obvisually a short bed screw is shorter than anything else in the rear part of the frame.

I was concerned with that as well as the amount of torque that will be applied to them if the bolts just run through the frame. I've seen bent frames on 12 second SCrew HD trucks (yes I know different frame) on the back half of the truck. I guess the new frame is much more than the previous and will not have any issues with this.
