exactly that was what i was trying to explain and i rarely wear shorts at all

i mean come on... if the leather gets hot enough to burn you, i think you have more serious problems than hot leather seats. time to see the doc. there are millions of cars with black leather out there.

Oh yeah, the dessert sun MELTED the third tail light on my truck last year. Now take that sort of heat, add dark leather and it's a recipie for a cooked ***. The stearing wheel get hot enough to be very uncomfortable anytime you can't find shade here(or don't put up your visor).

I never had leather seats when I lived in Florida but I have them now and live in Utah. It's been in the 100s these past few weeks and I've not had any problems with my (black) leather seats. Granted, while our temps are high and we are at 4k-5k feet, the sun is not as strong as it is in the southern states. Still, there have been days when I could not leave my hand on the dash but I had no problem with the seats and stearing wheel.

They do get cold in the winter but that is why the truck hes heated seats!

I just order the super crew leather seat kit from NewTakeOff.com. Could not bet the price. Was yours hard to install? I was thinking about paying someone snice I saved on the kit.
