What does this button actually do. I think mine is broken. Nothing happens when I press it. Thanks

Resumes your previous speed as long as you over 25 MPH (30 on 06' and up) after braking. If your slow down with coast button it won't resume to the previous set speed.

^^Right^^ let's say for instance, you are traveling at 65mph on cruise, if you hit the brakes on cruise it automatically turns off. However if you press the on button and then resume, it will take you back to 65mph from whatever speed you are currently at. Hope that clears it up.

If you turn the cruise off with the button it won't resume, you'll need to reset it.

You don't need to press the "on" button to resume speed after pressing the brake. Braking disables the system but retains the memory as long as the ignition isn't turned off. All you need to do once you're over 30 mph is press resume to get back to the preset speed.

I don't like the fact that we have to hit the brake to turn cruise off and maintain the resume feature. I think there should be another button of they should reprogram the off button to maintain resume.

Yeah, our camry has a "cancel" which is nice. But they put it all on one stick. I like having the seperate buttons better...

As said, that's a Toyota feature on a stick. My previous truck was a T-100 and I found the cancel feature just before I sold it (after 2 years).

If you hit the resume button while the cruise is set, it accelerates.

Now that I think about it, maybe it's the "set" button that does that...

I believe the set button should give you a +1mph. While the Cancel button should give you a -1mph. This happens only if you tap it and do not hold it down.

No, the cancel button cancels, the coast "CST" button gives you a -1mph.
The set button gives you a +1mph.
