exhaust help with 04
alright guys, so now that ive graduated high school my dad is FINALLY letting me mod the f150. ive saved up a lot of extra cash from working these past couple years, and i want to start with 3 basic mods: an air intake, edge tuner, and exhaust system.
so for the exhaust system im thinking about a true dual setup with H-pipe and two flowmaster mufflers (either their new super 44s or the original 40 serious) with dual 2.5inch tips.
heres my questions:
a) if i go with the true dual system, which muffler should i use? (super44 or original 40s?)
b) i do a lot of highway driving for hunting, fishing, and the 5 hour trips to the ranch in shasta. will this dual muffler system give me headaches on the highway or is it manageable?
c) what kind of price should i be looking for on this system? ive seen some people say that anything below 400 is good. true?
