I just commented abou them in your other thread about engine noises... Anyway, I've had the 9000XL shocks for just a few weeks now. Before that I had the Bilstein HD's. The Bilsteins were just "ok" for towing heavy loads, but definately better than the OEM shocks. The problem was that I was still getting a fair amount of porpoising when towing my 7500 lbs travel trailer. Since I've installed the Rancho's, I've only towed once. I noticed a significant improvement in the porpoising. I had the Rancho's set on setting 7. It handed very well... For daily driving, I leave them set on setting 1, which provides a nice compliant yet controlled ride. Just a little stiffer than stock on setting 1.
