Total Chaos upper control arms

Hey guys ive been reading about these Total Chaos arms and I was wondering if I would be able to use them on the Rize 8" lift? It says you run them with King coilovers which I was already planning on doing with my lift. So let me know what yall think! thanks

You can run them with anything you want as long as the balljoint angle isnt to gnarly. I have them with my procomp 8 inch kit.

You say you have an 8 inch kit? is that because you cranked your coilovers 2inches?

i think its cause he wantdd the coilovers and he had to change to the 4X4 Spindle to do so or something. but im 99% sure he put a 4X4 spindle on from the 2WD one.

Haha...I have the 4wd coilover which is a little longer than the 2wd and has stiffer coils so I got about 2 extra inches over the 6 inch 2wd coilover. I have had no problems and really cant tell any difference in the ride. Its just peace of mind that I have a huge uniball instead of a weak stock balljoint.

Not to start a flame war but really the uniball arms are only a little better then a regular ball joint in terms of not poping out. Uniballs are replacable meaning they can pop out to be replaced. In the set up like the UCA, a single shear without a safety washer how ever unlikely could still pop out with about the same likelyhood of a good ball joint poping out. Both poping out are rare and normally only happen on warn joints. Dont get me wrong I want a set but a lot for looks and then because they will wear out a lot slower then a regular ball joint. A simple safety washer could make them bullet proof but not one arm company includes them

You read it wrong, Uniballs are better but only when used in the right way like in a double shear set up or at least with a safety washer to prevent poping them out. Uniballs are better no doubt, but I havent heard of anyone really poping a ball joint out, its always I knew a guy that saw a guy pop one. My above post was usless because most here will never use their truck hard enough to worry about poping either a ball joint or uniball out.

Yeah I think im going to get a pair too... ill prob need them if I end up running 38's or 40's. Plus they would be great to have on a stock ride. I wish we could still do the group buy for kings so I could save a little bit of money.

I have seen worn out balljoint due to oversized tires all the time....these are just good to have if you have 35 inch tires or bigger.
