just skip the cai/tuner deal and go straight to the blower. Save that $500 because it sounds like you are going to be strapping on a blower fairly soon. Never did dyno my truck but there was an '04 at Diablo getting baselined before a Procharger install when I was there and it put down 224 if I remember correctly.

As for that Roush going 14.9-something is not right there. That was a scab which weighs less than my truck and I went 14.6 with the canned tune that came with the magnacharger. The last "Ford Performance Trucks" tested the Roush at 13.93 but i think there was some controversy about some tuning being done. Still there is no way the same truck no matter what the conditions ran a second different in two tests. That 13.9 will be mine dammit

The Roush specs I gave were straight from FPT (Ford Performance Truck). With those mods and amount of boost if that thing wasn't able to run a 13.9 I doubt seriously Jack Roush would've allowed that to print or asked for another test & show session.

Thanks for the info on the tuner and holding off, till I get the blower on.

Later...

I think those wheels only fit 4wd trucks.

Ummm... all the new F-150's (minus the HD payload package) have the same wheel specs... 6x135mm... Why would anything that fits the 4wd not fit the 2wd? Unless they just won't fit the wheel wells...

Doesn't make since to me either, especially since it is on the FX2 built with Ford Racing parts.

they just have their info wrong. it'll fit any F-150 out there except the HD as mentioned.

it's only a 20" wheel anyways. I've seen plenty of Lariats and XLT's that are 4x2 and have 20" wheels.

One reason might be because they are $340 each which is a lot for just a 20. You can buy 22's for less.
