Finally got it on the rollers...

I keep thiking along the lines of a blown 5.4, would it be possible to bolt a caged style pulley atop the lower on the N/A 5.4?

By looking at your graph, it looks like the boost increases at the exact same spot where your torque and horsepower begin to fall off. This could be where your belt is finally "catching" on the pulley since there is less hp/tq strain preventing it from gripping the pulley.
I've been on the phone this morning with Developmental Racing to see what can be done to get a cogged set up for these N/A 5.4 supercharging applications. So when I get my truck in I plan on getting to them some needed measurements on the accy pullies and etc. to see what can be done.
Would there be anyone else interested in a set up like this, if not I will keep it to myself. If you are interested and are serious and would like to get these measurements together now.... Let me know and I'll see what all needs to be done measurement wise.

Bruce if you go with a different blower than mine, say the whipple or Roush then you dont have to pulley it down as much to get to 8-10psi. I think the whipple uses a 3 1/8" for 10psi so there shouldnt be the slip problems that I might be having.
I do think there has to be a way to run a "bolt over cover" for the crank to effectively make it a larger lower. I know this would run all the accessories faster but this is what I had on my '05 GT w/ KB so maybe I should be talking to KB.

Who only runs 10 psi, that's stock! Yuck! Sorry, keep in mind I was running 18-19lbs now 15-16lbs on my HD with the Whipple.
If you can get me accurate measurements of lower pulley area I can get them sent off to Developmental Racing and see what Garrett can come up with.
Does the Magnacharger come with any type of belt tensioner like the ones that Metco make? If not I'm sure that would be something else Garret could develop.
Just tossing the ideas out there so when I get my truck all is in place and ready to roll.
When I do get my truck I am taking a few measurements for some other mods that DMR (Developmental Racing) has available for the 2001-2003 Lightning and Harley trucks.
If you have any suggestions or can think of anything you would like to see get made up let me know.

With a stage 3 ported Eaton the truck ran 15-16lbs boost and ran a 12.6
As for the Whipple I have not had it to the track since it was installed. Been really busy and racing season is also the beginning of boating season for me.

This should be on of them... The run was cut short since it was noticeable that something was a miss. After replacing the two coil packs the truck was run on the street and tuned from there.
So I think the corrected #'s would be around 460/570 or something like that. I'm tired and can't think straight.
Here's is the original post and I never bothered to get it dyno tuned again, truck has run strong ever since replacing the coil packs.

The truck ran 12.6 with a ported Eaton, bad coil pack, stock fan, stock exhuast and just some Toleyn (sp?) additive to 93 octane to boost it a bit.
I was also running on 26" slicks and was running out of gear way too early.
I may try to get the truck back to the track before I sell her to get that final time slip.
