New Edge Mount - Overhead

I haven't seen anyone post about this yet. Couldn't decide whether to post here or with tuners. Since it's more of an aesthetic thing, I posted here.

I just happened to run across it: click or here: click or here: click

Thought some of y'all might be interested...

Question

That's for the Edge Attitude, not the Evo. Still, looks like the Evo would fit.
I wonder if the OBDII cable is long enough to route it up to the windshield ????

The Evo is the same form factor as the Attitude. The cable that came with my Evo is too short to reach for overhead mounting but longer cables can be purchased.

Seems to me that mount would take a lot more movement in order to get a good look at it. I'll keep mine near the A pillar.

I still like mine mounted in the ashtray. It dissappears at the flick of my wrist for prying eyes...

I'd like my edge higher up. It looks out of place on the dash. May have to try the hidden ashtray route as well.

If I understood it right it mounts in the top corner of the windsheild and butts up to the A-pillar. Thats what I gathered from one of those links. So it would be kinda like the one that mounts on the dash and wraps around the A-pillar only up above??

That's kind of what I was thinking... but the pic looks like it's made to go over the mirror (hence the hole in the back). But the pic is generic for all models. So, maybe it's one way for one truck and another for other trucks?

So who's going to be the brave soul and buy one to see how it mounts?
