AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! Who designed these pedals?
Immediately after getting into my '07 the first time I noticed the brake pedal was positioned a little funny. I figured no big deal, I'd get used to it. Well I did to a point. Last night I had to sit in stop and go traffic for about an hour, and my 45 minute commute became 2 hours and 20 minutes.
My ankle is freaking killing me still today. How does any normal human reach this pedal for an extended length of time? 1/2 to 3/4 of the pedal is to the LEFT of the damn steering shaft.
/rant and silly bitching mode off....probably shoulda got the adjustable pedals! That may have helped.

Haha, nope. Sitting dead center of the seat. I'm in the pretty "normal" range for height and weight (5'10, 210 lbs with a beergut, size 10.5 shoe, etc.) I don't lean to one side or anything and I like my seatback pretty upright. It's like I need to practically move my leg over into the middle of the seat to push straight down on the brake pedal.
I know most don't have a problem but mine is FAR from the first complaint about this. It's also funny how the pedal swings through its arc as you push down. You can't keep a steady foot position on it.....either my toes have to slide down the pedal as it moves, or I have to slide my heel forward at the same time. I'm used to being able to keep my right heel placed in one spot while operating both pedals to their full travel I guess.
Maybe if I loose the gut it will help,

I have the adjustable pedals but have never used them (only to see if they functioned). I have not noticed any issue with the break pedal being in a funny position. I have noticed that the break pedal is a little sloppy sometimes but that's it. I am a bit taller though.
Maybe you could screw some wood blocks to the pedals and move your seat all the up like my dad did for me when I was 8 and learning how to drive.

Just be like in the video games, never touch that brake pedal

But yea, I just push the right side the brake, do the little rolling of the heel.
I'm only 5'9" no adjustable pedals, no problem. I do drive two footed though.
PS: I keep my foot off the brake while driving!
. . and I drive manuals a LOT! It feels wierd to not drive two footed.
