The cap on top of center console shifter broke and is now held on with a piece of tape. The dealer parts dept wants $70.00 for the whole shifter handle. Anyone know where to find just the cap?

 

I tried, and never found just the cap b/c I broke several when I was doint the LT shifter mod. You end up having to buy the whole thing. BUT what I did was just went and got some 60 sec. epoxy at wal-mart and glued it back on there, and havent had a problem since. Lets just hope it never needs to come off!

 

mine broke off a year ago put a blob a silicone on top pressed the cap back on been as good as new ever since.
