Dropping the rear is cheaper than a spacer and an alignment. I've had both. I first did a spacer and an AAL, I didn't like it. I then took that off, sold the goods, and got some GF 2" drop shackles for the rear. Looks perfect.

I did the 2" Ground Force shackles as well and it turned out sweet! You can check my gallery for some "before and after" pictures if you want. Also, I put together a little "photolog" of the shackle install -- if you want to see them, just email me and I'll pass them along.

in the long run lowering the rear is cheaper. b.c you dont have increased ball joint wear etc. You will loose a little bit of payload/tongue weight, but its worth it.

Shackles > spacer

Its an older pic, but heres me standing next to my truck

Nice!!!

That's what I am gonna do as a mod soon. I had a feeling that lowering the rear would be better. Thanks for the picture!

Just one question... are you that tall or is your truck that small?! I'm just really curious. When I stand next to my truck I look like a 10 year old black haired problem child.

that would be me. I've got a leveled F-150 and a lowered Mustang GT...I'm proving Newtons theory, just not the way he was thinking

to raise it: I'd look into 4x4 coil-overs (out of a junkyard truck). they'll raise the front 1" to 1 1/2" and give you a firmer ride.

or a 1 1/2" AS leveling kit. I love my 2.5"

to lower it: new spring brackets in the back to drop it.

either way is easy and fairly cheap. say $150 at most to do.
