2007 FX4 Question

Just traded in my 2005 SCab XLT for a 2007 FX4. Truck is awesome, but I have one question. When I got home, I looked at the F150 Brochure from Ford, and for the FX4, I noticed in the picture the FX4 appears to have a power steering cooler. My XLT had one. I went and looked at my truck, and it does not have one. The brochure picture shows the p/s lines go above the skid plate, and a cooler bolted there. Mine has the lines above the skid plate, but it just loops around and goes back, no cooler. Did the 07's come with this? I don't recall seeing it as an option anywhere. (My truck does have the tow package.)

I think the loop they have is now the cooler. Doesn't have fins like it used to.

I just did a search (after I posted of course) and saw that the curved metal line apparently is the cooler.

Not like I wouldn't drive it, just curious!

I also have this tranny cooler:

Yep, I have the same thing, tow package with the trans cooler, etc. I have the exact same PS routing as you.

I was just curious, as my XLT had the finned PS cooler. Not a huge deal, was just curious as to why it wasn't there.

Ford probably felt they didn't need the finned one and money.
