Make sure to give it back to them with no gas left in the tank and bald tires (assuming you can even spin the wheels on that little thing).

dame right no ***** had it for a week and never so glad to get my truck back
Talking about horrid stealership oil changes. I changed my oil in my F150 two days ago, and those F'ers never changed the oil filter on my last oil change. I was wondering why it was running soooo poorly. (I can tell when a vehicle needs an oil change by the way it runs.) The filter must have been clogged from factory junk.
It's a friggin shame that I can't bring it to the dealer in whom I bought it from, and have them take good care of it. This is the second dealer I've had issues with. They used to be good until they took over Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, and Jaguar... and they got too many customers... their parking lot is always crammed, and my truck sometimes won't even fit on their lot forcing not only me, but others who own large trucks to park across the street and have to cross a heavily used highway. No lie, I had to wait 5 minutes to cross the friggin' road to get to the dealer and I almost got hit by a car doing 65 mph.
When they were only Ford, there was like no problems at all. It always seemed quiet, and friendly. Now it's like they have soooo many people walking in and out, and so many cars, trucks, and SUVs. Not like what it used to be. Same thing with my previous dealership. They got too large, and they forgot about the Ford customer.
Luckily I've am automotive savvy, and I don't have a problem cracking the hood, reading a service manual/haynes manual, and getting my hands dirty. Unlike most dimwitted people that own a car, and don't know what makes it go around. As my Dad always said, "If you can't fix your own set of wheels, you shouldn't have a car." Which is right. Yeah, mechanics are alright if you are truly busy, or it requires more time than you have... that's a different story. But a recent poll I read, that only 2 out of 10 people know how to properly change a tire. Which is disgusting.

I had the same thing happen a few years ago with my Grand Cherokee. The 19 year old kid who changed my oil at the dealership put the drain plug back in with a pnuematic wrench and cross threaded the whole lot. I managed to get the plug back in without it leaking and made a bee-line right for the dealer. Of course, they said I must have stripped it when removing the plug, and it was going to cost me $475 for repairs. That's the last time I ever stepped foot on a Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge lot.
If I don't have time to change the oil myself, I take the Jeep to my Ford dealer. The closest Ford dealer to me is worthless, but the three others in driving distance are top notch.

i have oasis ford and toms ford each close to me (central jersey). been to both and they both suck. in fact they are so bad that i plan on keeping my 2 fords for a long time. the other option would be to go buy a gmc. i have been to both of these dealers for service and will not got back. i would rather buy the parts and fix myself than use the warranty. in fact just the mention of the name oasis ford to guys around here brings out some incredible stories. toms ford kept my truck all day then they tell me they cant duplicate the problem. the problem was not even intermittent. picked the truck up and the problem was there. didnt even go in to tell them, just drove away never to go back.
