Well, I may have spoke too soon, I just read an article that International has filed an appeal, bitching about how Ford is developing their own diesel engine before their contract to International ends.

There sure seems to be two sides to the story with the diesel. Didn't IHC claim that ford opted to do the electronic controls and that is what killed the 6.0's?

No idea. I know Ford's still pissed at International because they feel (I don't know if it's fact or not, I'm not a diesel guy) that Ford hung them out to dry when the 6.0 liter was introduced with little or no tech support. That's why they don't want an International built engine in the F150.

kinda makes sense to develop your own motor before your supply dries out...

It seems stupid of International to bite the hand that feeds them though

Agreed, it seems necessary for Ford to start building a new diesel now considering it took 6 years to build the 6.4..........
