Well, I no longer own an F150...
All I have to say is
WOW. I think it was a great trade nice work.
Although you might want to think about NOTputting in a programmer a buddy of mine has a friend at a ford dealer and he told him that as soon as you put in a tuner it is basically burn into the trucks memory. So lets say when you take the truck into the dealer and you have already taken out the programmer the system at ford will still bring up the info about the programmer that you used on the truck. Even though it's not programmed it still says what tuner was used which means your warrenty is shot. Totally sucks I know.
If I'm wrong about this I hope someone corrects me cause it would be awesome to tune the new 08's

Thanks guys...well, most of you. Hah!
I will take some pictures of the engine if it ever stops raining. I just popped the hood and realized that it has batteries on both sides of the engine and a 200 amp alternator. Time for a compressor and a train horn. First things first...I need to tint all the windows. I guess this will be the end of my time in this forum and I will be moving over to the Super Duty forum. I still love the F150. Honestly (and this really is the truth) there was not a day that I did not get at least one compliment on the yellow truck. Those days are gone. I loved the wheels and tires, but I always felt like they would have looked so much better with 35's or 36's and a 6" lift. They always stuck out too much for my taste. My neighbor just came over and asked if I had two trucks, and when I told him I traded the yellow F150, I thought he was going to cry. Anyway, thanks guys for the kind words. If I enjoy this one half as much as I enjoyed the F150, I will be happy.
PS - I hope you're wrong about the tuner being permanently logged in the PCM. If that is the case, then I will wait until the warranty expires to do that. The downside is that the 6.4L diesel engine has a 5-year, 100,000-mile warranty, standard. That's a long time to wait to wring the power out of this thing. I may have to invest in a spare PCM, install it in the truck, tune it, then if I have to take it back to the dealer, swap the original PCM back into the truck!
