Actually the short bed on the Super Duty isn't really that short, it is a 6 3/4' bed, longer than most F-150's (unless you have the 8 footer.)

that grill is amazing looking.
Thanks guys. I am still looking for my shirt. Anyone seen it? Now I am wondering how much OT I will have to work to make this $612/mo truck payment. My F150 payment was right at $450/mo and I always felt like that was lower than average for a $39,000 truck. Now I will be poor for then next 60 months!

Wow...from $450 to $612 is a big jump!! U should've kept the yellow truck and put a 6" lift on it IMO. If you had to get an 08', you should've at least got a screw...

Oh, and I am VERY pleased with the interior...that is REALLY sharp for being cloth. Congrats on that sweet ride....it will be a beast with the big three power upgrades (intake, exhaust, and tuner).
For once, I agree with every word Lumadar said.

That is one sweet ride my friend, and that 6.4 is the meanest of the PStrokes ever.

Congrats!!

Believe me...go and drive one. You will never like your F150 as much afterward. After driving the 2008 F250, the F150 feels like a toy. No matter how much cash you throw at it, it's still a half-ton truck.

Thanks! I think I will have this one for a long time.

I just read that you said it breaks them loose at 50 in the rain. I must have one. Did anyone else hear that Ford and International are having problems? Supposedly International isn't going to supply Ford with anymore 6.4s until Ford pays them out the *** for them?

Very nice new truck. I too jumped to an F250 97 diesel for a short period of time then back to an F150. Here's the most important thing I can offer.

Read and know your diesel owners manual supplement

My 97 manual recommended interesting stuff like idling for a few minutes after high temp operation like freeway to let the turbo cool. I don’t think your intercooled turbo will have the same issue but… Also, you may need to monitor your coolant periodically with test strips. For my 97 you had to add special additives to avoid cavitation. Again, not sure about your 08.

Ford sued International and the courts sided with Ford, they're back to supplying engines for Super Duties.

ok how does it compare to your F-150 from a dig, can you feel the truck put you in your seat?
if it is faster than that would be pretty sad on the F-150's part
i think the 6.4 could be one powerful **** with just some mods

Nice trade, freaky -- those new SD's are such beautiful trucks that everytime I see one I can't take my eyes off of it!

I have absolutely no use for a SD, yet every drop of blood coursing through my veins wants one!

I traded in a 1996 Toyota Tacoma (paid off) and a 1996 Ford Cobra (owed $5,000). I also used my X-plan pricing and the available rebates at the time. I ended up financing about $26,000 for 60 months at 1.9% interest. This time I ended up financing $35,000 for 72 months at 7.9% interest. This is the first time financing a vehicle for 6 years...hope she lasts.
