I've got the tools, but not the hands on knowlege. that stuff is too expensive for me to play with...better let the "professional" do it IMO

I want a True-trac in the front also. we'll see if I ever do the gear swap...would be worth it to go from 3 wheel to 4 wheel drive

It's been a LONG time since I spun wrenches for my bread, and even longer since tech school. But I know that between myself, and a buddy of mine that is a recently discharged (his tour was up, he didn't want to stay in) Nuke Engineer with the USN, I figure we can get through diff swaps and gear lash settings. The Detroit locker website has a REALLY good .pdf article on how to do it, and it isn't far off from what I remember from when I worked as a mechanic...
