Also probably a dumb question but is the frame extended on the 6.5 bed or is it just the bed thats father back? Could really use the longer bed.

They are custom vents on Shane Deberti's truck modified from these with the extra bars

To answer your question about the frames on the 6.5' bed screws, yes it is longer. The wheelbase is the same as (I think) an extended cab with an 8' bed.

 

A scab w/ 6.5 bed has a 145" WB, screw w/6.5 bed 150" WB, scab w/8' bed 163" WB.

The others are reg.cab 6.5= 126 wb, reg.cab 8'= 145 wb, scab 5.5'=133 wb, screw 5.5'=139 wb
