Taller Block or Add-a-Leaf

Should I get a taller block or an add-a-leaf to level my truck up? I think it would look better leveled up and this darn procomp kit doesnt sit level. Take a look at my gallery especially the last 2 pics.

yeah I def agree about the boots. Gonna make sure I do that when i make the change. The reason i started this thread was to try and get some discussion regarding the drawback of stiffening up the rear-end w/ add-a-leaf as apposed to not w/ a block. Also pro-comp has a 1.5 add-a-leaf kit is this the way to go or are there others that are better?

Assuming you've got 4.5" of lift in the rear with blocks, since you never answered me. I'd do both.

Stacking blocks isn't the best idea. I'd get a 4" block and a 1-1/2" add-a-leaf.

I can't believe Procomp would release a kit with that much of a saggy butt in their lift.

I can't believe they would release a kit that instructs you to stack blocks either maybe his shop left out the stock 2" block and thats why it sits so low.

That looks VERY low in the rear. Thump might be right. I'm prob going to go with a 5" block and AAL then adjust coilovers to make the front level to the rear.

thumper i did not mean to not answer your question, chill,,,, i have no clue what my shop did or did not do regarding the install. All i know is it sits way to bulldogged for my taste, and i want the rear level. BUT i do not want to sacrifice the nice ride that it has right now. So does anyone have aal brand suggestions??? or is there anyone out there that suggests a taller block???

ditch the block completely. it leads to axle wrap and broken stuff. Your best bet is to buy a completely new leaf pack.

sucks, but it's safer...well, unless you've only got a street princess

Thats what I was thinking. Im surprised not too many people on here have replaced the whole leaf packs and have just put huge blocks or aals. I think Skyjacker makes up to 6" leaf packs. I was looking at them the other day on 4 wheel parts.
