Lasers aren't too much of an issue in my area, yet... mostly Ka and K band attacks.

I bet having a bright red truck doesn't help either - while speeding that is.

I've been busted by laser detection before, was not a pretty sight. Do the jammers actually work and are they illegal?

I hear that. Nothing makes your heart skip a beat like hearing the god awful racket my laser detector makes. Problem is, once you hear the noise, it's already too late.

I'd be curious to know if the jammers work, also.

Im usually the one on the other hand of the laser gun if you know what I mean. Ive had several instances that my laser wont pick up speed on a certain vehicle and out of curiosity stopped the car. They were all equiped w/ laser scramblers which did work. They are not illegal in the state of Florida.

It's a little bit different driving down here in Texas than it is driving in Detroit. Our roads are wide open in any place that is not in a metropolis. So therefore driving 55 to get from Dallas to Houston takes a while. Just because law makers felt that the speedlimit should be set at 55 in a certain spot does not make it right...

Unless that laser jammer is running continuously it's a tossup.
Whomever has better electronics will win. Same as the radar jammer.....unless it's continuous it's a tossup. Just don't be the one leading the parade.
