I took apart the intake and i found out the dealer who r&r the motor did not plug in the motor that runs the intake butterflys so they were always closed I will be going to the dyno again to see what power the truck really makes

The CMRC plates (butterflies) are only on 3v motors and yes they make delete plates for the mustangs but they do next to nothing, are $100 and up, and require a tune. You cannot use the same deletes on our trucks bc the plates are built into the manifold. You can remove them and seal the holes but theres no point imo.
mlawdawg check out www.modularfords.com if your stang is a '96 and up. Lot of tech info there without having to see all the " look at my new spoiler" threads.

road trip post
Thats what was wrong with my truck. It was only putting out 146rwhp with 93octane xcal2 kit. Thats how I found out something wrong. But my truck did not have power especially towing. My "road trip" post tells all.

I am going to the dyno this weekend or next weekend,so the problem was not the torque convertor at all,It was a ford dealership that did not plug cmrc motor in,the truck is night and day difference now that the cmrc are removed

No dyno yet because iam having problems with the computer system, the truck keeps going into engine fail safe mode,The truck has no problems with the motor, trans, tourque convertor, just the computer, My advice is to leave the trucks stock!!!!!!!!!!!
