Later that day, Dtheo patents a new quicker way for removal of plastic body parts.

It looks like the car owner could have snapped that bumper back in place and been on their way.

Glad it wasn't any worse.

As to the response time... if you had been around here and called 911 for a non injury / emergency accident, they would probably shuffle you until the next morning and then rip you a new one whenever they decided to show up.

They're a bit **** about non emergency 911 calls here.

Shoooot, a couple cans of fix-a-flat should take care of the tire problem and some gorilla glue for her bumper

Glad you are okay and the truck isn't too bad. I'm amazed their aren't more wrecks like that in Vegas, people there take some pretty bold turns in front of traffic. I t-boned an explorer with a rental car about a year and a half ago because he turned in front of me trying to rush into a Pep Boys.

My 6 year old and I were talking about living in Las Vegas a couple days ago. She said that she didn't like it because there was too much traffic and she didn't like red lights. Now you know that is bad when a 6 year old (4-5 at the time we lived there) was complaining about traffic.

Well I called the insurance company thinking the accident was my fault the whole time and gave them all the info, then come to find out its her fault...
after all your cussing of the cops...aren't you glad they determined it was HER fault??!!

Well I just got news from the BF that his boss is moving us to Salt Lake City... so the vegas trip might be put on hold... But ya'll are welcome to come up there lol

First off, lol I was an explorer so i know cops lol...Not only was I relieved... but the cop was giving me crap about my license plate "hispymt" I was like... Well I couldn't put hertrck cause it was already taken... so that was the next choice...

Anyone know a rough estimate or the best way to handle this in a timely matter? I am leaving to TX here on the 28th and need a spare just in case... don't want to run on a spare the whole time... Think I should rush the insurance company or just fork out the money and have them reimburse me?

Here you get arrested, up to a $5000 fine and/or up to a year in jail (aka instant felony record) for calling 911 in a non emergency. They don't mess around about that.

Hate to hear the truck is smashed, keep in mind it's just a machine so it can be fixed. Glad your alright though.
