Nitto Muds... tired of them.

Is anyone else who owns these getting tired (no pun intended) of them? I love the look but damn, they are LOUD as heck!! I have about 32k miles on them, still have a lot of tread left but I am about to go to some Terra Grapplers until i buy a new (2009+) F150. Anyone else NOT like your Nitto muds??

They make a lot of noise, but they ride pretty smooth, and I love the looks and the compliments they get. It's also hard to find a tire in a 35 or 37 w/ a 20" rim that isn't up towards $400 a tire.

Aw dude no don't do that. I love terra graps too but those tires on your truck look INCREDIBLE.

If you must change the tire, get some Toyo Muds I heard they are pretty quiet.

Sal I have at least 15k on my tires and they seem to be nearing the end of their life. I have screws in 3 of them, and probably a nail or two as well. One is going flat from it so I'm going to repair that asap. These tires have done well imo, I'm happy with their performance both on and offroad. I do not mind the noise, but the wear has me thinking twice on my next set. I will probably go for a baja claw next, if not a bogger on a custom 16.5" wheel.

I've always loved your truck for obvious reasons and it's the one truck that inspired several of my choices regarding lift and tire combo. Sal your truck is one of a kind the way it sits I'd hate to see you throw a set of AT's on there. But it will still be admired by many either way, good luck with your choice.

Just ride in a truck with boggers. . it'll make you want to get back into your truck. When I get annoyed with my tires, thats what I do at least.

Yea I'm tired of the loudness produced by them... But I'm extremely spoiled with the offroad performance. If i was to go with an all-terrain tire I would probably get myself into some sticky situations because I'm so used to being able to go anywhere I want with these Mud Grapplers.

The noise dont bother me but I've got less than 7,000 miles on mine and I already need 2 new tires from the truck bein slightly out of line. My next set will be Toyo M/Ts but if you decide to get some Terra Grapplers you think you could hook me up with either 2 or all 4 of your MGs??

Josiah, long time no talk, i hope you are doing well!

only 15k miles? Are you rotating every 5k? I have 33k on mine, drive on the street 95% of the time and still have a good amount of tread.

Thanks, i may just buy an extra set of wheels with some the ATs and switch them off here and there....we will see.
