I couldn't get the Toyo M/T's because they were on back order, so I bought the Nitto Muds. I called the tire place on the drive home. I said oh Hell No! Those suckers are too loud. I thought there was an airplane above me or there was a lawn mower stuck under my truck. They look cool, but it wasn't worth it to me. The tire place found my Toyo's and I exchanged them. The Toyo's sound like the factory tires compared to the Nitto's. I love my Toyo Muds. They look great and are quiet.

Wow, thanks for the reply, i really had no idea that the Toyos were quiet. I will pass that along to friends who have asked... You are right about them sounding like an airplane, everytime someone calls me on my cell the first thing they say is," You are in your truck, right?"

If you like the Toyos also look at the Copper SST M/T. Same tire as the Toyo IMO plus cheaper.

Honestly, I think they're better of a tire as well, and not just because they are cheaper. They don't make them for anything bigger than a 18" wheel though last time I checked their website.

STT's are great tires at a great price. My tire guy who I woud expect to try to sell me some BFG's or Nittos suggested these when I asked him what I should get. He wa 100% right. I love mine.

Looked at a new set of 35x12.5x20's last week.

A tire and wheel shop here in WV has several differnt wheel combo's with 35x12.50x20 Coopers. Great looking tire, and more then likely my winter tire combined with a 20" moto metal 951 black.

I love the look of the Nitto Muds. i think they are the nicest looking tire out there. And noise is of no worry for me. i used to run 40x18 ground hawgs and boggers on an old Chevy of mine. i love to hear them hum! But I am worries about tread life? I have heard people only getting 7k - 10k out of there Mud grapplers? true or what?

I've got about 15,000 miles on them, rotating every 3,000 or better. I've got a ton of tread left.

I don't know who told you >10k out of the Grappler. I think it's just the selfish people who don't want you buying a tire they run in order to keep their vehicle one of the few, I get great mileage out of these and I still have a little tread left. Goes for those who say they are not up to par offroad too, everyone just wants to have the latest naysayer, attention grabbing advice. I've ran at least 20k+ on these, in my above statement I guessed at how many miles were on them, this time I did a little rough math.
