one last time......suggestions please...

I pulled the trigger on new wheels/ tires (18's /35 muds) and now I need the lift. I have a 2004 Supercrew FX4. Here is the conflict.
I have 6" to spare from the top of the rear of my cab (highest point) to the bottom of the lowerst point on my garage. I am running a 2" Autospring in the front. I will either do a Fabtech 6" lift (preferred lift) or a Rancho 4" lift. Here is what hours of searching this forum has given me.
Fabtech
Front: 5.5" gain (-2" for removing the Autospring + 6" lift + 1.5 tires)
Rear: 3.5" gain (-2" for removing stock 2" block + 4" block +1.5 tires)
Rancho
Front: 3.5" gain (-2" for removing the Autospring + 4" lift + 1.5 tires)
Rear: 3.5" gain (-2" for removing stock 2" block + 4" block +1.5 tires)

Based on this logic, I my truck with either lift would fit in the garage. However, further research on this website is telling me that rancho will put me at about 81" total whereas the Fabtech around 82". I have a clearance of 81.5".
These numbers arent really adding up. Should I get the Fabtech (again, preferred path) and risk not being able to park in the garage (which would really suck) or get the Rancho and run the risk of having 2.5" to spare which would have accomodated the Fabtech lift in the first place? Suggestions?

If it were me, I would get the 4" Rancho just to make sure that I was able to park in the garage. If you find that you still do have enough room you could always add something like a 1.5" AS spacer upfront and a bigger block or AAL in the rear to get alittle more height.
