A guy just received a King Ranch and it took 6 weeks from the order date to come in.

What dealership did you order from? Just curious, I use to be a Dealer Sales Analyst for Ford Motor in Memphis, left Ford about a year and a half ago.

BTW, I am in the same boat, I ordered a Lariat with every option in mid March. The dealer told me 8-12 weeks. I am in no hurry, I don't want delivery until summer, after my bonus end of May. My luck it will be delivered next week.

I ordered from Lander's Ford, in Collierville, TN or other words Memphis.

He sent the order in about a week and a half ago.

07 FX4, supercab
silver, two tone
luxury package
navigation
5.5 bed
black leather interior

When your salesman sends in an order he has to guess at turnaround because he doesn't know what work volume is ahead of him.
Once he receives the VIN he will be able to guess much more accurately as his past experience will tell him typical days between receiving VIN and vehicle delivery.

Ask your salesman to notify you when he receives your VIN, then ask him for an approxmiate delivery date.

When I purchased my truck back in '05 my order was placed on 5/25, the truck was built on 6/7, and it arrived at the dealer's lot on 6/26.

That was one of my largest dealers. I use to buy my vehicles from Dobb's Mt. Moriah, just because they were closer to my office.

Landers is where my parents got their Expedition, they have a good selection of vehicles given the demographics they are located around (lots o'money).

I use to get in some classic arguments with all those guys over there, we had a love hate relationship due to their sales volume.

Anyway, nice truck, you will enjoy!
