Single DIN radio install kits...

Yes, I searched.

I would like to see some pics of peoples install kits so I can get an idea of what kind I want; it has to look good, not just hold a radio

I sat in the truck for 45 minutes trying to get ideas on making my own, but I decided to just buy one after I figured I didnt have the patience or tools to make something that fits the curves of the dash.

So, let me see what you have, and let me know what brand it is. I would like to get stuff ordered soon.
THANKS!

I got the one from Crutchfield as well, doesn't look quite like that though. Here is a picture of mine...

I did have to do some tweaking on it but I couldn't tell you exactly what that was now.

Titansu, Ill most likely take you up on that offer. Ill send you a PM in a few minutes here letting you know my zip code and what not.

KSU, they actually look a little the same, maybe the only difference is that you used the trim ring that came with your CD player, and Titan used one that came with the dash kit???

can someone with a crutchfield install kit measure the size of the opening on the bottom. I bought one from Best Buy, not sure of brand, but the opening is so small that I can barely get my hand in there to retreive the remote.

I thought titans looked a little beefier around the edges of the opening, but at any rate...my "storage hole" measures 1-1/8" x 7-1/8".

Here's mine using a Metra kit and a billetbadge.com badge. I used the double din part from the metra kit. Still need to fill in around the edges of the badge.
