20 years old = kid. But seriously dude, calm down. I mean, it was kinda useless to ask a question when the link containing everything you could want to know was right in front of you. Your sarcasm wasn't exactly the most mature way to respond either.

PS: Just out of curiosity, you didn't click the link before asking your questions did you?

PPS: Could you please make your signature larger, I can't see it very well.

Listen guys, posts like this are what ruin this forum. I am not talking about the guy asking the question. I am talking about the ones who jump all over him for asking it knowing that it will start an online argument. Please, he made a mistake, just let it go.

Thank you

something worth noting on the edge that MGDFan touched upon, people don't read, they want everything done (this isn't in response to the website thing) for them. when a custom tune is programmed into the edge, it uses that as the default. If you were to go back to it a day later, and program another custom tune, its basing its tune on the numbers that were put in before. most people don't realize before you make another custom tune, you have to set it back to stock.

Well I think I am going to go with the Edge. I read the manual from there site and it looks pretty straight forward. Thanks for the conversation about these products. You guys squableing need to sit down with a cold Fat Tire and kiss and make up.

Miwico,
Just curious. Why did you change your mind from the Scangauge II to the Edge? Did you do it for the tuning reasons? I am interested in the MTE (Miles to Empty, Average Fuel Mileage, etc.), and think more of that type of info can be had from the Scangauge, right?

I do like the scan gauge, thanks for the info on it. I am going to get one for my cherokee, the jeep is a govt surplus unit with no gauges except fuel and speed! This will work perfect for that.

However, my F150 is a total workhorse. I run a truck camper on this and I live near the Colorado rockies. My Truck is at or above the GVWR most of the time. I need to monitor tranny temps (which I don't think the scan gauge had) and when the time comes I wouldn't mind some more power. Gearing up for a two week 7K mile trip this summer in short.

Anyhow I will probably order the scan gauge today for the y2k cherokee. It will really enhance that vehicle.
