now I have been contemplating doing this same mod to my work truck. Did you paint you plastic peice that goes on top of you bumper or did you replace it. If you could please give me the address of the website that has the paintable plastic peice in stock. thanks alot.

 

I replaced the piece with a new PTM cover I got off Ebay. The seller has a body shop in Texas and painted it for an additional fee. You can get the cover new from fordparts.com or similar sites for under $200 new. The Ebay sellers name was body_parts_4u and may have additional covers. Good luck.
