Thanks for help, True Duals Installed

Thanks to the guys that provided input on their true dual system . I finally got mine installed today and man it sounds awesome . I will make pics tomorrow when I get it cleaned up a bit. I have 2 flowmaster 40's, a magnaflow x pipe, and 2 4'' magnaflow rolled tips. I never imagined it would sound as good as it does. Again, thanks to the guys for the advice. It was worth having it installed.

If I did loose any power, I'd have to see it on a dyno. I don't notice any differerence. So I guess if it's not noticeable, then it must not be that much... There is some drone around 1600 - 1800 RPM, nothing I can't bear. I researched it before i bought the stuff, so I was expecting it. I LOVE it.

That was my old setup I had Dual Flowmaster 40's si/so with turndowns and liked the sound for awhile, but wasn't loud enough, So I ran true dual Straight pipe with lightning style tips, MUCH LOUDER MUCH DEEPER TONE

Do you have any pics of the exhaust? I have contemplated the idea of true duals on mine.

Yeah, the pics are in my gallery. Also, I have $250 in the mufflers, tips, and x-pipe. The guy I had do it which I trust alot, charged me $250 for installation. He spent about 5 hours on it trying to get it hidden as best he could and to keep the mufflers horizontal. He said it is better for them and helps the life of them. You can barely see the corner of one muffler If you know where to look. He truely did an excellent job. No leaks and sounds great. Glad I went with the xpipe. Does anyone know what you can put on the welds to help prevent rust, or maybe just pain all the pipe and welds. Want to make it last as long as possible. I know the pipe wont rust but the welds will eventually.

Sounds like he did a good job. I need to have mine cut out and re-welded so they are hidden a little more by the frame. I'm thinking of having the tips just run off the mufflers so you can barely see them underneath the truck. Hopefully it won't effect sound too much.
