window tint

hey, i am thinking about getting my front windows tinted to match my back windows. I am thinking about going with 15-20%
anyways, i was wondering how much it costed you to get yours done. I dont want to get ripped off by the tint shop.
Last, how can u tell a good tint shop from a bad one?

First, i would suggest 15%, i got 20 and it's a little light. I got charged 100 dollars, i would look for a good warranty, and ask to see their cars if they are tinted.

This is the law in Missouri, Almost seems pointless to do it.

WINDOW TINTING — Tinting or sun-screening material is permitted on
side and rear windows (front door windows at no more than 65% light
blockage).

180 to do all 5 and I have the 3 piece back window. I tinted my fronts to match the backs and then retinted the backs with the same film.

I paid $60.00, and for that price I was very pleased!

All up until my soon to be wife decided to run to the store and hit the drive through on they way back!

They re-did the tint for free!

i paid 125 for mine 5% all the way around and a vinyl strip on the windshield. our legal limit in south carolina is 50 percent, but ive never had a problem with an officer. I just roll my window all the way down before he gets there. Ialso had an individual do this since its illegal, and he can charge whatever he wants.

I have like 34% on the fronts now but after I get my inspection this month Im going to get them down to 15%. Im tired of looking at the differance between the front doors compared to the rest. Do the tinters typically remove the existing tint or put another layer over it to get the desired results?
