Red (security) dash light.

Something weird happened today.
While passing someone to work today my truck sputtered for a second and the red light ontop of the dash went on. Stayed on for 5 seconds and went off. Any idea what that means?

I have a Roush exhaust, Volant intake, and I am running Troyer's 91 oct tune.
Their wasn't any back fire or anything. The truck always stays in gear during a pass and waits for 5 seconds, even though I am off the gas, to change gears. I talked to Mike about it and that how it works.

Thanks

Have you done any electrical work recently?

Nope, nothing.

Its weird. I had something happen last week. I was getting on the express way, hammered it and it studdered. After that. I made a U turn and did the exact same thing. It raped to speed without hesitation.

You think Fuel Pump maybe? Doesnt sound too much like Spark plugs or injectors if it worked fine immediately after, but i still wouldnt cut them out of the equation. Damn that is really weird !

Are you saying that when you nail it to pass, it takes 5 seconds before it downshifts? So, it is not even downshifting when "floored"?

Oh no, Downshifts are right away with the Troyer tune. Its going into the next gear. Like 2 to 3. It takes 5 second before it goes into 3rd, even though I am off the gas.
Its weird, but mike says is a safety thing for the tranny.
