They were very easy to paint, of course I do a lot of painting on the side so it's not a big deal at all. The paint base/clear I got from my local auto Body paint supply. thanks fur all da

LOOKS AWESOME

I want to do this for my truck now, but the price is a little high.

Where did you get your flares from and how much were they?

I got 'em from Autopartswarehouse.com back in Jan. for $389 shipped. But now I see they raised the price to $427 Keep watchin' ya should be able to find 'em around $350-430 for the set. Which is still freekin' high for a peice of plastic

You are exactly right.

I have not bought a set because I'm afraid something will happen to ONE of them and I'll have to buy a whole new set just to get one. It would be my luck that somebody would hit my truck as soon as I got them painted and installed.

Those flares look really good. I am giving some thought to adding those to my list of mods I will be doing soon. Will be ordering my lift kit, wheels & tires on Monday so may just have to order these at the same time. Don't want to be tearing up the paint with the wider tires flinging things up at the truck.

Good job on the flares. The mirrors may be too much red though.
