There has been talk about it before...Ford calls it AWD but when I have asked what the exact differences between the AWD HD running gear and a standard 4WD F150 are no one can give a real answer (except to give the definition of AWD...which I am well aware of! ) If its like the system in my old Expy (which the control looks like...AWD and 4HI) then if detects any slipping it goes into 4WD (or AWD) but under normal driving it only applies power to the rear wheels. Like I said it would be very interesting to see what the real differences are.

I'm not just talking about lowered trucks. I am talking about the kind of trucks. If you have a tile guy that drives a brand new HD 150, then you might be getting screwed. Maybe the guy that owns the company or the guys that own their farms as they talked about above, but I doubt the laborers. Stupid thing to argue about anyways, but I am just making my point from above clear.

FYI it is a 4wd....or as they say AWD.
I wasn't quite sure how the AWD system worked on the Harley Davidsons, I figured it'd be a complete different set-up. I guess I was wrong though.
