Power window switch light

Only the bottom half of my drivers window switch lights up on my "04 lariat. I did a search on this and it seems to be a frequent problem and they say you have to replace the whole cluster of switches! Does anyone know if this is true? If so, how hard is it to change, can I do it my self, and how much does it cost?
Small thing, but it irritates me

Thanks

I just had mine replaced under warranty, but just pop up the arm rest and the switch should just be held in by a clip

Unfortunately, it's a common problem. I had my switch cluster replaced under warranty a few months back, now one of the lights on my cruise switches is fading out.

Another question...
I was noticing that the window lock out switch doesn't light up either nor does the mirror adjustment ****. Are they supposed to??

So if a person was to buy a new window switch cluster, I don't suppose they offer any kind of a guarantee on those do they??
