Looks like a nice truck but not at that price. I mean a truck is a tool imo. Buy the tool to get the job done. I got toys to go fast and the truck aint it, it just needs to haul em to where I need em. Plus the Ford's take the abuse well, the few Toyotas I have seen do not.... Now I know they can be modified and have a great drivetrain but your everyday use...Ford has designed the vehicle better. This is where the imports have almost always fallen short...american practicality. We have big asses, like big drink ups, want huge torque off the line, etc. The japs are just starting to understand this....maybe in the next few years they will master it and then it will be a hands down win for the Japs. Should never have rebuilt that country...
Plus, if I ever want an aftermarket part or just a part, I will find one at will for the Ford and slim pickings for the Toyota and at a much higher price. At least thats the case here in Iowa.

My truck is slow as hell and I do not think trucks need to be labeled as fast drag racers, but If I get feeling to smoke somebody, I will borrow my moms lexus LS 460. Its got like 380 HP.

Well, Technically I beat my friends 05 Vette with my 04 4.6 Screw!!
He stalled off the line..... but I'll take it! Having a fast ride is just the beginning... You have to be able to Drive or you can get beat by anyone! Just cause a persons got a vette, srt-10, ect..ect... doesnt mean they know what they are doing! Usually means they have more money than they know what to do with! lol
I say if you have a truck and you wanna race it... GO FOR IT! Just be smart about it and dont endanger other people!

my sentiments exactly i dont drive around looking for races i was just curious about the new tundra and the guys wanted to show me that that close to $40ktruck is faster than mine. and it was 50mph road and we didnt get much higher than 55 or 60.
in the end our trucs still look way better and even though we might not live up to the acronym

You are correct. There is a time and a place. When I go 200 mph, I do it on county roads where I can see fore miles and there are now house tress, etc. Will only endanger myself.
