How much damage can a 20 yr old kid do in a company truck?

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that. He was in a late model F-250 SCab. His front end damage was even worse than my rear end damage. Hood, bumper, driver's side fender, engine bay was pushing on the battery, wheel was a little off line. Euless police told him not to drive on it, but he did anyway ... very slowly of course.

Im with you on that, and really why does some of you "old folks" rag on younger guys. You can have an accident at any age. I was in a snow storm here in Illinois going down the highway and from up here (in the F150) I saw alot of old people in the ditch. SO! crap happends to everyone.

Oh yeah, knock on wood.
By the way, not trying to make this a pissing match, just explaining my piece. No need to get mad...

Sorry to hear about the truck. I will vouch on the more miles you drive the increase risk of accidents. I usually put on appoxt 40-60k a year on a ambulance alot of just routine, but also a lot of priority response. I can personally say in the 7 years here I have had one accident. Though again age is also a factor, the younger they are the more invinsable they feel. Ask the 19 year old kid second day out rolled a brand new ambulance.

And also, I dont know how many of you have company vehicles, but as many miles as some guys drive in company vehicles accidents happen. So to say that it should come out of his paycheck is ludicrous, its the risk a company takes when offering vehicles. Im mean we've all had accidents, some even at fault, so I dont see how a "20 yr old driving a company vehicle" is any different.
Either way, sorry about your accident.
