Is this a skid plate for the front of the truck?

Yes, front skid plate.
Don't know what it would be worth. The expensive one is the fuel tank plate.

I second the motion of it being the skid plate. As far as what it's worth...I wouldn't pay over 35 - 50 bucks for one.
