NEW HEADUNIT!!!! lots of pictures!!!!

well i got my new pioneer deh-7800 installed
here is the new one next to my old 7700

then i had to get my remote wire untaped from one of the speaker wires(circuit city did that when they installed me amp befoor i had an aftermarket head unit.

next ipod adapter withou:

and with it in

Nice ! Thanks for the pic's. Looks like the carbon fiber cover just pops off.. I was loooking to install the audiophile in mine, have the cd 6/mp3 hu but the thing has no bass and I will have to probably upgrade the head unit or pull the existing one out to see if it has the subwoofer outlet, but knowing my luck, I will need the hu as well.

ut oh, you forgot a 7mm screw on the dash kit in 1 pic

-20 point deduction

i tell you an f150 i love taking apart lol if ya do it once you can do it with your eyes closed

lol ya i know i dropped it behind the radio and i couldnt find the dam thing, so i need to get a new one, but your right it is cake after the first time. this is the third headunit i have had in this truck i can do it with my eyes closed like you said!

I love this headunit it is great!!! and the ipod unit is great!!! everything works perfectly!

FYI : An option is this Kenwood KSC-SW1. It sounds great!!!! I have more pics of it in my gallery.

Where did you happen to find that at? I was lookin at the MTX thunderlink, but that looks much better!

Isn't that the truth. I think I can unassemble most of the interior while asleep.. lol.

BTW I've always wondered what that gray box is that you put your Ipod adapter on, my truck doesn't have one.
