I'm ready to drop the hammer on this purchase today. It would be nice to get the 10% discount, but I'm not waiting another day. The cheapest price I can find is $350 delivered from Discount Power Parts--without coupon code of course.
They give great service, got mine there last year.

Was on the "edge" about edge

Well, it is done. Just order the edge from AtuoAnything with code "save10", total $318.56. Now the wait begins.... Have been reading about tuners on this forum, and others, for the past year. I have an airaid jr. and a magnaflow, siso. This should put a little kick in the old 05 5.4 4x4. This is a wonderful site and the info I have acquired here is first class. Thanks all.....

Be advised that it also constitutes a minority opinion...

Myself, and many others have had very positive results.

So what would be better for a 98 4.6 4x4? Xcal2, Live wire, or Edge. another question can troyer tune a edge? because i like the idea of the monitoring but i have also heard he is the man when it comes to tunes.

The majority have spoken on this thread! Many other's are having positive results with the Edge also MGDfan. For a daily driver the Edge fits most because of improved performance, gauges, price, and resale value. Most are not wanting to out race everything on the road. If you are looking to get the most out of your truck then get a custom tune and dyno it to be a perfect custom tune. Here is another post from someone who had a Edge and a costume tune and liked the Edge better:

I read it here - about half way down:

I was going to hold off getting one of these until I read this, so I ordered just now from Autoanything.com and used GIFT10 for the discount code to get it for $318.56.
From everything I've read here it's the best mod for the money.

Hi Silver.

I think perhaps you misunderstood, bud.

I was only referring to Josiah's problems with the X2, nothing more. Honest.

I am truly happy that he's found nirvana in the Edge. J deserves a break

Cheers!

You can always update on the internet after you buy it.
Very easy to install.

There's a thread on 2007's and the Edge in the Chips forum.
