Did a search but info was a couple years old. The more mods I do the more nervous I get. I'm thinking the OEM system isn't the best.

the oem isnt really an alarm i got the viper 791xv witht he pager and its the best thing you caan get in my opinion it tells you when something sets off your alarm

 

I have the Clifford RSX 3.5 alarm/remote start and love it. It also has the 2-way remote which is nice.

 

My Code Alarm 670 has been great so far.

By far the best alarm / starter out right now is the Compustar Pro P2W9000FMR which also has the Computrack - GPS Tracking System as an option. It will call your cell phone in case of a breakin. As well you can track your vehicle online, disable it, and control the alarm through a computer or your cell phone. This is the unit i am putting into my new truck when i get it.
It has many more features, but these are what make it the best out right now.
