just thought id take picture...

i was in the process of figuring out the wiring scheme of my driver side mirror and i thought id take pictures to post up in this thread. amazingly, i just discovered my powered mirror is also heated, comes with a puddle lamp, and power-fold (and they all work! ). now i just need to wire them up.

I wish they would put the turn signals vertically on the outter end of the mirror... I think that would be more noticeable from behind the truck.

sorry to bump an old topic but..

were they at some point not LEDs?
i notice my mirror signals are fine at night but kinda dim in the day, not very noticeable, when the other day i saw what i think was a 2007 with his turning signal in the mirror and it was in the day but looked as bright as if it were night, why are mine so much dimmer than his?

cause the leds face away from you as you sit in the truck get out of the truck and look at them

You could install the mirror caps that have the signal on them. The lens is the outermost portion, and it's vertical. Only for the '03's back (and 04 Heritage).
