I am feeling pretty good if I can get it around 20-21, I am upside on my truck a bunch, So I will have to finance more anyways, and kind of need to build the lift/tires in to the loan. Thanks for all the help. any more is still greatly appreciated. Thanks again you guys are very helpful as always!

Before reading this post I was going to post that the way guys like that seller make money is by taking advantage of people like yourself. He KNOWs people don't have the cash to buy a truck and then mod it on their own, so they stick it to you in order to have you finance the lift/wheels/tires into the overall deal.

I just hope you realize that financially, given the fact you are already upside down *a bunch* doing anything like this is a TERRIBLE financial decision that could really put you in a world of hurt for quite a while.

but, back on topic, the lift stuff cost him $300-350 in parts, another $500 labor, the wheels and tires are both cheap models, and probably only ran him another $1,000-1,200. So that's less than $2,000 worth of stuff added to the truck.

Go run the KBB on the truck as if it were stock, and then you add on this value. Then you will see the premium he is asking.

SilverScab 5.5 is dead on. It's an XLT. 56K on a 3 year old truck is high, not bad....just high. As several others here, who are experienced in lifts, have stated, you could have this done to an otherwise stock truck for MUCH less. Don't burden yourself with insane debt for that.

I wouldn't if it were my cash.

X2 what Lumadar said......

Seriously -- you state that you're already upside down on your existing truck, so what you want to do is try to "loan" your way out of what is already a bad financial position?

I understand as much as the next guy that sometimes we "want" things, but sometimes you just have to be man enough to say, "I can't afford it right now and will wait."

Probably not what you want to do, but if your father was giving you sound advice, it's probably what he would tell you! I'm not trying to be a ***** or rain on your parade -- I just hate to see the financial graves that some people insist on digging for themselves!

Good luck either way.....

Look at the instrument cluster (Below speedo), if it is an FX4, it will have the FX4 logo there. Probably a wanna be, like you guys have already pointed out. I agree seems a little steep!
