I'd usually never say to trade a truck for a car but that is a very nice car and as long as you don't need to tow, haul anything then congrats because it is a beautiful car

Leave the car alone. Luxury doesn't need ghetto. Very nice. Enjoy.

Face it fellas, you won't see him for awhile. He drove around town just once in that thing and the girls are following him like the Pi Piper.

That is the EXACT car I was going to buy instead of my truck. I opted out though for the truck as it has all the same luxury factors (after HEAVY modifications) and it allows me to do things like take all our equipment up to the cabin this weekend with ease, rent a camper and go camping this summer, pack equipment for tent camping, move family and friends in and out of apartments, and before too long, tow my GT500E to and from the body shop.

Sorry for the long typing, I'm just trying to rationalize the purchase to myself again, as I find myself wishing I was driving the G.

Oh well, this isn't so bad:

I want to meet the guy who goes out to have a Nav installed in his truck, and then decides to trade in the truck on an expensive luxury car instead.

How are those new payments treating you?

Sounds like me, and the nine cars I've had in the last 2 years. And no, the G35 is not the American version of the Skyline, it's the Infiniti version of the Nissan 350Z with a back seat and a bump in price.

Wow, on this comparison, I'd rather have the Z.

Nonetheless, AWESOME RIDE!

Congratulations on the car, before my F150 I had a 2003 G35 coupe with the six speed and Brembo brakes. One of the first ones off of the truck. Mine was Laser Red with Black leather interior and Navi. I loved that car, I spent all of my weekends tearing it up at road courses. Unfortunately it was also the most problematic car I have ever owned but I attribute that to the hard miles and the fact it was one of the first ones out of the assembly line. I have'nt driven one of the new G35's, how is it? Did you get the six speed? You will like it, I heard that new VQ is a screamer. Also this is the US version of the Nissan Skyline 350GT. A picture of my old car after it was traded in for the truck.

Thanks guys on the well wishes... I got the G35 Sport Automatic with the Manual Option with the paddle shifters on the steering wheel...... I still have to break this baby in so I still have about 300 Miles left before I can let her rip... It's hard for me to keep it under 4000 rpm without her throwing a fit..... She's a teaser man........ For all intrested the infiniti dealership gave me 18500 for my truck and I owed about 15500...
