Ok so I have been searching and kicking it around for months on what intake to get. I have the cash and want to get something. I see that the '04 model year, which I have, is when there was problems with a lean condition. I don't want to buy an intake, then get a CEL and have to waste the money on the intake. I am going to put an Edge on at the same time if that makes any difference. I see on Troyers site that the AF1 and the Airraid are the only ones they tested that didn't cause a lean condition. Seems though that most are constructed the same way and would think they should be similar. I really want to stay away from an oiled filter and I would like to go with the AEM but I am concerned about CEL.

So with the 2004, what intake is the best?? Those with that year of truck, what are you running without a CEL??? Need help so I can get something bought.

 

I have an 04 also....never had a problem with my AF1..there has been a crap load of posts on this subject...I am going to have to venture to say that the majority of posts on here like the AF1 intake....
