I chose the AF1 because at the time it was one of the only CAI's for the new body style F150 4.6. I love the way it looks and have never had a problem with it....coupled with a 1" throttle body spacer I have a cool sounding truck!

I haven't got one as yet but when [if] I do, I'll stick with what's worked like a charm for me in the past .. ... .. Volant.

As for those who claim that you can NOT feel a noticeable power and/or torque gain with a [quality] aftermarket CAI in trucks because of weight or whatnot, I say horse dung!

This is my second, and the family's forth full size pickup, and I've air intaked every one of them AND have felt a noticeable gain [some moreso than others] in torque and/or ponies with one [realtively] moderate and cheap modification.

The simple fact is this: over 95% of OEM intake systems aren't worth a pint of monkey's ****! All you got to do is dismantle one and you'll see that they're .. .. .. restriction, restriction, restriction!

Anyway, to each their own.

I bought the Volant CAI, and when i sell it, it will be the AF1 period. I have seen it with my own eye's at Troyer's Dyno day. My truck did not make the power that the trucks did with the AF1. AF1 is the only way to fly!

I sent him a PM he said his truck is having warranty issues and he does not like switching from AF1 to stock intake each time he goes to the dealer.
